Now what is this about? Since when am I concerned about Maxwell Stewart’s feelings?

Maxwell continued not knowing how to end the call regretting that he had followed Noelle's advice.

"I know it's late Joy, uh, Ms. Twinkle. I just wanted to tell you thank you and seriously, your little impromptu close out of tonight's rehearsal gave me an idea for the program's grand finale."

"Where were you? You saw that?"

“At the back entrance to the practice room. And yes, I did! Would you let me run my idea by you? I think if we work together, the kids will have enough time to make the change. If you're willing--that is. I mean, you've worked so hard...it is your production at this point."

  So what do I say?

"Sure Mr. Stewart, just let me know when."

"It's Max, Joy--if I may. What about Sunday around 2:30? I should be finished up at church. Perhaps we could grab coffee."

"Well, that, that sounds good. I don't go to church--ooops, sorry. But yes, I'll be free at 2:30. Where should I meet you?"

Maxwell's voice dropped, "How about I pick you up? Coffee's on me. It's the least I can do."

  So what do I say?

"Alright, great Joy. Noelle told me you don't live far from the church so I'll see you tomorrow around two-two fifteen. Good night."

  "Goodnight."

Golden Girl sister is gonna get it! I can just imagine the two of them. They're in cahoots on this one. I just know it. I wonder what they're doing. No, I want to know what they're saying. Right now.

Maxwell hummed and snapped his fingers, “It's finally beginning to look a lot like Christmas.”

Noelle danced as she dialed her mother's number. "Hey Mama, guess who's coming to dinner? Yes, ma’am. Ms. Joyeaux and her guest. Don't forget the mistletoe now. You know the hot spots. By the way, Darryl's going to be in town for the holidays so he’s joining us, too. Joyeaux thought she was running this show, but Mama we did it! Joyeaux and Noelle will be sitting side by side at the Twinkle Christmas table.

"Joyeaux Noel Mama! Love you too."
